At Darton Academy we follow a three year Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9) and then a 2 year Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11). At the end of Year 9, pupils opt for subjects that they will study in Years 10 and 11 and they complete those subjects by the end of Year 11.

In Years 7 to 9 pupils follow a core curriculum of English, Mathematics and Science. They also study, History, Geography, languages, Computing and PE, and a wide range of more creative subjects such as DT, Art, Drama, Dance and Music. In addition, they study EPC which incorporates our citizenship curriculum.
