Erasmus trip to Alicante and Birmingham

Our Erasmus project with our partner school in Novelda, Spain has sadly finished this year. We have had a successful two year partnership funded by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ project. Our aim was to foster a love of language through a collaborative project titled, 'Enseñarme como jugar juntos - Teach us how to play together'. Our students have benefited from the experiences and opportunities that the trips to Alicante afforded them. Most recently, students and staff spent a week in central Alicante, fully immersed in Spanish culture; making friends, making memories and using their language skills. We are thrilled with the uptake for the project and how our students have chosen to continue their Spanish studies at GCSE.

Our final part of the trip saw our students meet our partner school in Birmingham for a day of basketball coaching with the Birmingham Rockets. All of the students involved had a great day.
